There was diffi ultimate assembling the shelf, but overall I love it.The center bits had to be bent a little to sit flush with the wood to allow the screws in enough, and one shelf was missing a whole opening for the nail. It was held down in three other places so figure its not a problem, but frustrating.
I was so worried about height and length of the unit that I didn’t pay attention to depth. It’s more narrow than I would’ve like, however, I picked this unit because of the ground clearance of the first shelf. I wanted to be able to put my cat’s food and water underneath it. I added grow lights that I bought from amazon also. I have a few more lights to put up to make that empty shelf another area for my succulents. I added a ribbon to discourage my cats from getting on that shelf. Though there are some minor tweaks I would recommend, like making it just a little deeper, it fits my space perfectly and it’s serving its intended purpose for me.
1. I LOVE IT.2. Whoever designed this got it slightly wrong in all ways for building.--the shelves all bow up at the center because the length of the vertical pieces is slightly off.--I had a damaged foot screw and no extras. I had to hammer it after I placed it, so good luck ever taking it off.--the back brace pieces are just on the side of too short to be attached by the screws, which led me to stripping a screw (I had ONE extra) and not being able to get two screws in all the way. Also they're gold while everything else is black or silver. Annoying.--the instructions are VAGUE. I read them and examined them before I started and still managed to do and redo the same piece 4x until I was mad. For your reference, the shelves should have the hangover lip in the center while the edges should be flush when put together. Screw the edges in on both sides before you do the center with the brackets. Save yourself a headache.--the fancy x in the center of the shelf will look great, but good luck screwing in your pieces. There's everything in the way, and it is annoying to do mini half turns over and over again. It can be done.--I appreciated the clear labeling of every piece!--I did have to anchor the shelf for stability, and the pieces were provided for that.It is a gorgeous piece, it holds everything I want and has edge hooks!! I can hang my bag and jacket on the side to grab on my way out or keys, umbrella, head band, winter gear, whatever. I didn't know that feature was on the shelf, so it was a good added surprise at the end.

The product was shipped timely and undamaged. The product was easy to assemble, especially the fireplace insert. Some reviews said there was a problem with the doors not lining up, however I had no problem. Definitely use a hand drill instead of a screwdriver though. It’s beautiful! I love it!!!
Great value for the price. We looked at similar instore items and they were 4-5 times the price. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is better instructions on lining up the doors. Once I figured that out it was easy.
The fireplace looks great once it’s assembled. The instructions were not too bad, however there were one confusing part, where it asked to use black screw, I ended up reusing the screw of the fireplace where you have to remove from the previous step. I also have issue with reinstalling the door a few times to try to see if I can fix the gap. Don’t worry too much about the gap, because once you install the fireplace, it will cover the gap perfectly. I wasted a good 15 minutes because of this. One small complaint I have is that, behind the door, there are no holes to run wire behind. I ended up drilling my own hold so I can run wire. This TV fireplace was delivered in two separate packages and they both arrive of the same time for m without any damage. So far we have been using the fireplace light to add warmth to the room. We like that we can just turn on the LED light without turning on the heat, since on some day it is too not cold enough. Very satisfied overall with the product. We have been using it every day.
